Missa por Sergio Vieira de Mello

Gilda Vieira de Mello, Carolina Larriera - mother and partner of Sergio Vieira de Mello - and survivors of the attack at the Canal Hotel in Iraq, and family, friends and colleagues of the victims will gather on Friday, August 18th, in remembrance of our loved ones during the third anniversary of the bombing of the UN Headquarters in Baghdad on 19 August, 2003, and in recognition of the importance of sustained reflection in this period of increased violence against humanitarian workers.

The gathering will be held at the Church Center, - a non-denominational space on First Avenue and 44th Street- , from 2 to 4 PM.
