Se 2000 e tal não fizeram nada, qual a diferença entre 350 ou 650?

De um leitor:

650 militares ou 650 bebedores de cerveja e de capuccino? É que da primeira qualificação/actividade não há registo significativo...

Provavelmente ficam cá apenas para ajudar a animar a economia nacional. Porque para impôr a lei e a ordem não é com certeza!

    I hope the Aussie diggers realize that they are in danger of undoing their hero status they received when they led the InterFET force to stop the militia and the TNI from massacring the people, all because their politicians back in Canberra have a different agenda to them being in East Timor.

    Whis is this all about FRETILIN? If you want a multipary East Timor, then Ramos-Horta is not helping it. Instead of concentrating on FRETILIN, how about Ramos-Horta helping other political parties to get their acts together and win the upcoming election? Why is so concerned about FRETILIN loosing? East Timor is not FRETILIN and FRETILIN is not East Timor no matter how much FRETILIN has contributed to the struggle for independence. East Timor is an independent, multiparty and democratic country and FRETILIN is not and should not be regarded as the only party. If FRETILIN wins the next election, the win should be based on policies that it has to develop the country and not because FRETILIN's historic role or because Jose Luis Guterres is in the secretary general. The same also goes for the other parties.

    Julgam que somos cegos e nao vemos coisa nenhuma aa nossa volta! Acreditam que o Ramos Horta quer genuinamente o bem para Fretilin? A preocupacao dele eh enterrar mais a Fretilin, criar mais divisao no seio da Fretilin. As declaracoes dele demonstram que ele continua a descredibilizar a lideranca da Fretilin. Sugerir uma pessoa a quem chama preguicoso para Secretario Geral da Fretilin eh desejar mal a Fretilin. Deixem a Fretilin tratar dela propria. Ajudem sim a organizar outros partidos tendo em vista as proximas eleicoes. Ensina-lhes tambem um pouco de civismo, enculca-lhes um pouco de valores democraticos para ver se aprendem de vez e nao venham a rejeitar os resultados eleitorais que lhes serao desfavoraveis!

    Concordo que os militares australianos nada fazem! nada fizeram....mas não os acusem de beber cerveja, porque eles estão proibidos de beber! só capuccino, mesmo! não fosse a GNR...o que seria de nós!
